交流校の先生と初メール交換！
Hello Miwa,
I look forward to working with you. Your English is fine. I wish I could speak your language.
I am in Gulfport, Mississippi and our school has been closed for a month because of the damage from Hurricane Katrina. My students return Monday. I will sign them in our classroom next week.
This will be the third year I have participated in the virtual classroom program. Last year I worked with Asanogawa Elementary in the Ishikawa Prefecture. We enjoyed learning about them and look forward to learning much more about Japan. Where is your school located? How old are your students?
My students are fifth year and are ages 10 and 11.
I am excited about getting to know you and your students.

自己紹介の返事が来るとうれしい物ですね。ハリケーンで被害を受けたと言うことでＴＶでも放送されているので、児童の関心も高いと思います。交流校の国の地図をクラスに貼って関心を高めたいですね。まさに世界がつながっているという感じを児童は持てると思います
